More than seventy years of care. A future of possibility.

For over seven decades, the Tull Charitable Foundation has partnered with Metro Atlanta nonprofits tackling the region’s most pressing needs. We invest in the organizations that are the building blocks for helping all people thrive and in the spaces where communities connect. We’re amplifying impact across Atlanta, one partnership at a time.

Joseph Tull

Joseph McKeehan Tull arrived in Atlanta in the early 20th century with an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep belief in civic responsibility. After founding what would become the Tull Metal Company, he built a successful business while remaining closely connected to the city around him, actively supporting Atlanta’s charitable and civic institutions as the community grew and changed.

That commitment to Atlanta did not end with business success. Over time, Mr. Tull formalized this spirit of giving, establishing The Tull Charitable Foundation to extend the founder’s values through community focused, strategic philanthropy. From the beginning, the Foundation focused on strengthening the organizations that help communities thrive, with a particular emphasis on health, education, and opportunity.

“Each citizen should feel a duty to financially support charitable and civic endeavors.”
