The Rebuild Grant
Over the course of 2026, the Foundation will award grants of up to $100,000 to approximately 20 nonprofits that have been directly affected by federal funding or policy changes in 2025.
The Tull Charitable Foundation is shifting its grantmaking focus to support nonprofits that are committed to rebuilding their business models to create revenue strategies that can more fully support and sustain their operational and programmatic needs. This grantmaking approach is designed to help nonprofits develop business models that align mission with financial strength, while continuing to serve marginalized populations and advance a more just and equitable Atlanta.
We recognize that redesigning a business model can require many difficult choices. In some cases, maintaining stability, or even scaling back the number of people served, the geographic footprint, or the breadth of programs, may be necessary steps toward long-term financial health. We do not expect organizations to sustain their current volume of services or locations, especially given our focus on capacity building. What matters most is thoughtful strategy, transparency and steady progress toward a more sustainable future.

Eligibility Considerations
To apply, organizations must:
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving communities in Metro Atlanta
- Have annual operating expenses of at least $1 million (or a combined budget of $1 million+ for collaborative applications)
- Have experienced a decline or shift in government and/or philanthropic funding that may be tied to the populations served
- Demonstrate readiness to pursue meaningful organizational redesign centered on long-term financial sustainability
Priority will be given to applications involving collaborations among nonprofits. Consistent with our mission, the Foundation will continue to emphasize support for organizations advancing racial equity and serving historically marginalized communities.
