The Tull Charitable Foundation is a longtime partner to Metro Atlanta’s nonprofit community. For more than seven decades, we have supported mission-driven organizations addressing the city’s most pressing needs.

We work alongside nonprofits to strengthen their capacity and help their efforts reach further, amplifying impact across Atlanta.

Nonprofits face complex challenges,

We offer three grant cycles each year, with equal funding available in each cycle.
Our goal is to provide a clear, consistent timeline so organizations can plan ahead and apply
when the timing is right.

Decisions are made within approximately eight weeks of submission.

What We Look For

Each application is reviewed with a focus onunderstanding both the organization and the opportunity ahead. We consider:

  • Organizational overview
    Your core programs, history and how your work has evolved over time.
  • Your current operating environment
    How recent shifts in funding, policy or demand are shaping your organization.
  • Your model and opportunities for growth
    How resources are generated and used and where change or innovation may be needed.
  • Capacity to act
    Your team, leadership and readiness to move this work forward.

How to Stand Out:

  • Adapting to changes in funding, policy and community needs
  • Exploring ways to build more sustainable revenue models
  • Open to rethinking traditional approaches to operations or service delivery
  • Centering equity in their work, both in mission and practice
